Not sure I buy into all of this, but it is very interesting reading. I believe it took me a long time to be able to "think for myself"-- in many ways, I allowed society to think for me, but when I began to examine my values and turn to God as the author of my path in life...thinking for myself became a wonderful part of my self discovery. So you moved outta mom's house a few years back, and since then, your room is a mess, you don't work out, and you don't spend any time smelling the roses. You prolly don't even call mom anymore because you know she would tell you to pick up the house, go to the gym and take timeout to relax-- WELL, when mom's not around, we now have hassle me!
